Apples
Australia produces some of the world’s best and premium quality apples. The most popular varieties are Red Delicious, Granny Smith, Cripps Pink (sold internationally as Pink Lady), Gala & Fuji. Different regions have different climatic conditions.
Royal Gala: Fresh & crispy & medium in size with a sweet flavour.
Granny Smith: This variety of apples are high in cell repairing antioxidants. They are firm and have a crunchy flesh with a juicy and tart flavour. They’re perfect as a work snack and are an excellent choice for apple strudels and apple pies.
Pink Lady: This variety of apples have an extremely long ripening season. They have a distinctive pink colouring, fizzy flavour and crispness.
Gala: Gala Apples are available all year-round. They are medium in size and are crispy with a floral aroma. Ideal for salads & pies.
Fuji: Firm and slightly sweeter than the other varieties and the ultra-sweet bite makes you think of a freshly pressed apple juice. Ideal for making them an excellent choice for salads, juicing and cooking.
