Cherry
The Australian Cherry Season only lasts just for 100 days and the first cherry harvest begins in October/November and extends through to late February.
New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania are the largest growing regions followed by South Australia, Western Australia and Queensland.
We have built key and long term relationships with our suppliers from each region to export premium varieties of cherries. The Tasmanian cherry season is limited and has gained international recognition for Area Freedom status for Fruit Fly. It is also recognised as a pest free area i.e. minimal use of chemicals.
Some of the most popular varieties are:
Merchant (Mid December)
Stella (Late December/early January)
Bing (Late December/early January)
Van (Late December/early January)
Simone (Early January)
Lapins (Mid-January)
Regina (Mid-January)
Packaging available in 2kg and 5kg cartons.
